“Remember, the entrance door to the sanctuary is inside you.” ~ Rumi

“This is not my body; this is the temple of God. This is not my heart; this is the altar of God.” ~ Hazrat Inayat Khan

We go to sanctuaries to remember what we deeply cherish, love and hold most precious in life. We also go to sanctuaries where we can heal, mend our broken hearts, and tap into spiritual empowerment to carry on.

Many of us have attended the Alps camps for many decades, which were initiated by Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan in the 1950s. This summer marks his 20th Urs, the anniversary of his passing and remembrance of his legacy. It also signifies a new beginning for Zenith as we gather in a different venue. You are warmly invited to join our group retreat this summer, nestled in the serene woods of Caduceus Center in northern Germany. Our familiar camp meditation tent and the beauty of nature will be our outer sanctuary for spiritual renewal and healing.

During this year’s retreat, our focus is on returning to the sanctuary of our own hearts and souls, as preparation for being sanctuaries of peace, loving kindness, and beauty for others in our world. As Pir Vilayat often taught, retreat is our dress rehearsal for daily life!

During this intimate group retreat, we shall share in:

Optional early morning practices
Healing practices with breath and movement
Sufi practices with sound, light, and meditation
Sacred music, prayers and songs
Evening zhikr and silent meditation
