Group Retreat with Saki Lee

Week 3D  August 7th – 13th, 2022
Group Retreat with Saki Lee, Assisted by Latif Brinck

“There is nothing in this world which does not speak. Everything and every being is continually calling out its nature, its character, and its secret; and the more the inner sense is open, the more capable it becomes of hearing the voice of all things”
–  Hazrat Inayat Khan –

During these challenging and ever-changing times, we need to stay close to the simple things in nature, for she is a shelter for our souls, and a holy place where the divine is clearly visible and audible.  We are welcomed into a precious circle of belonging with the whole of life and all living beings.  Even if we enter nature’s sanctuary with burdened hearts, we can expect to leave with lighter footsteps!

To consciously create a pause from the uncertainties of outer life, spiritual retreat offers us a time-honored way to return to the essence of being and the purpose for which we have come to this life.  We are renewed and nourished in body, mind and soul as we tune ourselves to the natural rhythm of nature, her awesome beauty and hospitality. As we deepen our alignment with the higher frequencies of light, love and life, the call of our soul becomes a clearer and more reliable source of guidance towards our life’s authentic calling.

We are delighted to hold our retreat after two years of absence in the silent, sheltered and beautiful retreat area of the camp where people have come for over 30 years for the alchemical process of transformation.

Our retreat schedule this week includes morning sessions, during which we share sacred music, silent meditation, and practices with breath, light and sound as we explore the dance between inner and outer life in the world.    The afternoons will be on your own, allowing the splendor of Nature to unveil your own true nature.  Suggested walking meditation practices as well as an opportunity to have a personal sitting with Saki and Latif will be given.  In the evening, we meet together again for sacred songs and zhikr.

This retreat is open to both newcomers as well as experienced travelers on the path of love regardless of experience with Sufi practices.
