Summer Program 2025

We’re really happy that the Caduceus Centre has again agreed to host the Zenith Camp this summer. This will allow us to come together as a community, experience a rich program, and further envision the future of the camp. You can find all the details about the general conditions such as accommodation and meals here on this page, while signing up for a program happens via the Registration page. We’re aware that the North German Plain isn’t the same as the majestic nature of the Swiss Alps, but the secluded clearing among the fragrant pine trees has its own enchantment, alive with the vibrant symphony of many singing birds. We’d be happy to welcome you here this summer!

Here’s all the general information on our location this year, what’s different compared to Ticino and what stays the same, and what we’ve improved since last year.

Arrival & Departure

The week begins as usual with an introduction on Sunday evening and ends with a Cosmic Celebration on Saturday lunchtime. Arrival day is Sunday. If you already arrive on Saturday, please contact the camp secretariat on-site and book yourself dinner and breakfast. Departure day is Saturday. If you’d like to leave Sunday morning or mid-day, please see the camp secretariat on-site and book the additional meals. As places are limited this time, we ask you to refrain from arriving on Fridays or leaving on Mondays.

An overview of the three weeks and their respective dates can be found on the Programs page.

Meals

We offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to proven camp recipes, vegetarian and vegan. All food we offer here in the Caduceus is certified organic. As some of you will want to have breakfast in your accommodation or eat out, only lunch is included in the event price. If you would like breakfast (35€ / week) and dinner (60€ / week), please select this on the registration page. It’s always possible to adjust your choices by sending us an email or visiting the camp’s office during the week.

Accommodation

There are plenty of opportunities to camp on the extensive forest grounds of the Caduceus Center. There will be sufficient shower and washing facilities as well as toilets on different locations around the grounds. There are some limited spaces for campers and caravans, so please indicate this when registering.

This year, we offer a limited number of white tents for rent, as we had in the Swiss alps. They come with a level platform, but you still have to bring an air mattress and sleeping bag. Please select the place in the white tent with your registration.

If you do not want to camp, please arrange your accommodation in good time. Bad Bevensen is a spa town with many hotels, guesthouses, and vacation apartments. The Caduceus Center maintains a good directory of accommodation in close distance, which you can download here. The few cabins at the Caduceus Center will be allocated to teachers, musicians, team and translators. Individual agreements with participants who have young children or wouldn’t be able to participate otherwise are the exception.

Shuttle on Sunday

With sustainability in mind, we want to encourage you to travel by train. We’ll therefore offer a shuttle service between the Bad Bevensen train station and the Caduceus centre for you and your luggage. More details about the shuttle schedule or means of contact can be found here in beginning of July.

The shuttle vehicles will be waiting for you on the town side of Bad Bevensen trainstation. If you walk towards the town center, you can’t miss them. We’ll also offer a shuttle back to the trainstation on Saturday, times will be announced on-site.

Differences to Zenith Camp in Ticino:

Amid change, we offer you familiar structures, such as the wonderful program with our teachers. It will follow the same times as in Switzerland, with morning meditation and evening program. All programs are English & German. We’re also offering a children’s program, a teenie program and individual retreat again. However, some things will be different:

  • Due to logistical limits (seminar room & kitchen), there’s a maximum number of participants, which is why we recommend you register early. We might be booked out at some point!
  • We do not rent out dormitory beds. If you are not camping or renting a white tent, you must arrange accommodation in good time.
  • As there are fewer costs involved, we can offer participation at a more affordable price than in Switzerland.
  • The Caduceus Center is located next to the Caduceus Clinic, a psychosomatic clinic. We respect the patients’ special need for protection and do not stay on the clinic grounds.
  • The forest in which the Caduceus Center is located is mostly dry pine forest in summer. Open fires, camping stoves and thelike are absolutely forbidden! Smoking is only permitted in the designated areas.
  • Some will prefer to have breakfast in their accommodation, so we offer breakfast and dinner as an option this time.
  • There will be no Workstudy program. We are working with a smaller staff, if you would like to join us, please see the staff page.

New in 2025:

  • It will be a three week camp this year, with programs in addition to the main program in all three weeks.
  • We offer individual retreats again! There will be a seperated, silent area for this purpose. For all the information, our guides and registration, see the individual retreat pages.
  • There’s a work camp again, two weeks long and with a group of 8-12 people. If you’re interested, take a look at this page.
  • We’ll have platforms for the retreat meditation tent and the children’s tent.
  • We’re offering a Teenie program again, with Fynn and David-Julian in week one! See this page for more information.
  • We’re offering white tents to rent out now, bookable together with your registration.
