Children’s Program – All Weeks
Monday – Friday, 9.00 – 12.00 & 15.00 – 18.00
Our children’s tent is located in a beautiful hidden spot in the forest. Surrounded by an area reserved just for children’s play, it has everything to make their hearts beat faster: Tree trunks to balance on and hammocks to hang out in, the best stocked supplies in camp, a variety of painting and craft activities, a cozy corner, tools to build huts and games to play together. And then there’s the children’s tent team, a bunch of adults with big hearts and a high degree of “noise tolerance” who will read to you, make you banana sandwiches and take you on excursions. How wonderful!
Between trees, flowers, vegetable garden and pond, the children go on a journey of discovery: What crawls, flies, grows and blooms here? What can we make ourselves with natural materials? How can we connect with nature, observe it and enjoy it with all our senses? How do we take care of our environment and the community? Songs and stories will accompany us through the week and of course there will also be time for free play and just being. In the summer heat, we can go swimming, and other excursions are also possible! Gemma and her team look forward to seeing you in the children’s tent.
Gemma Hauser is a nature and wilderness educator and theatermaker. She toured Switzerland for four years with the educational circus Wunderplunder. Gemma has already led the children’s program at Zenith Camp in 2023 and 2024, and we are delighted to welcome her back again this year. Here at the Caduceus Center, she will draw from her wilderness education skills to explore the vast forests around our location with the children.
Guidelines:
♥ The children’s program goes from 9.00 – 12.00, and from 15.00 – 18.00, Monday to Friday, covering the program time.
♥ Children of three years and older are invited to stay in the Children’s program without their parents during the program time.
♥ For the smaller children ages three to six, a natural and child-oriented time of settling in and detachment from the parent(s) should be considered.
♥ Kids between zero and three years are welcome to be part of our Children’s program with one parent or caregiving adult present.
♥ Parents are responsible for their children and their well-being, and this may require the parents to skip some of the program to take care of them.
♥ It is important to bring a variety of supplies: rubber boots, rain gear, a warm sweater, bathing suit, sun cream and sun hat, and several changes of clothes.
Tips for registration:
Click the “Register” button, then choose the weeks that you’d like to book a children’s ticket for.
Then, click “Add to cart”. You will be redirected to checkout automatically. If you would like to book another program, simply click the menu button “Registration” again. Don’t worry, your details will be saved.

This year, there’s only one price, meals always included. We’ve lowered the overall price slightly. We do offer further discounts for families, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if needed.
