The Music of the Heart – A musical Retreat

The Music of the Heart – A musical Retreat

Silent Retreat with Ophiel van Leer
Week 1B, July 23rd – 29th, 2023

What is the song that our heart wants to sing?
What is the music that lives within us, as underlying rhythms, as different melodies, as contrasting or sustaining harmonies?

In the course of this silent retreat we will explore dimensions of inner landscapes, more and more seeing ourselves as musicians of our own lives.
We will meditate with the aid of music and dive into Sufi practices which foster the inner journey of finding the realm of the soul.
We will allow the meditative attunement to open into intuitive improvisational singing and finding actual melodies, which express the different ideas and qualities found in silence.
