We were able to write and publish a Mission Statement, describing Zenith’s goals and purpose, as well as a Protection Concept, making our events safer for everyone. The website was filled with more information, for example about our association or the leadership team. Our new president Azim brought fresh wind into the board, new statutes were approved and the association is now open to interested new members. Last but not least, the Friends of the Camp program was started as a vessel for our long-term supporters.

Winter Online program:

Building upon the very positive experience with our Winter Online program 2024, we again asked senior teachers of the camp if they’d offer morning meditations during the winter. Zumurrud, Amaité and Parvati agreed and each led a wonderful week of early attunements, every week crowned by a beautiful concert. Sinan, Mehmet & Ali with friends, and Nirtan led us into musical bliss. The whole program was based on donations, and you can revisit the sessions here.

Zenith Seminars in Germany, July 27 – August 17 2025:

Again hosted at the Caduceus center, we had a delightful three weeks of summer program this year. Pir Zia’s seminar on the Spirit of Guidance was met with great interest, and the Young Adult seminar, the Teenie program and the many children in that week brought lots of life to the otherwise quiet grounds of the Caduceus center. Week two was soul-themed, with a colorful Music of the Soul seminar happening in the meditation hall, while others were exploring Soul Healing in the forest. With a program full of synergies and alignment, we celebrated Atum O’Kane’s life in the third week, while Aziz and his retreat group walked the Path of the Mystic in our retreat area. We’re thankful that we had this great oppurtunity to gather in north Germany! Here’s a bit of an impression:

2024 has been quiet an eventful year for Zenith, with leaving Campra and having an impromtu camp at the Caduceus. You can read what lead to the decision not to continue in Switzerland here, and following is our year ’24 chronologically:

Winter Online program:

During the winter months, our teachers Saki, Fatimabi and Ophiel offered three weeks of wonderful early morning meditations. Nirtan, the Ungan family and Sinan Arat played ecstatic and blissful concerts. We’re grateful for these offerings to our community, for those who came and participated, and for each little donation made. The Recordings of our morning meditations & concerts in January, February and March can be downloaded here.

“The Big Move”:

In May, Nirtan and Julian gathered around 20 volunteers to move all the camp’s structure and equipment from Campra down to a storage facility in Bodio, near Biasca. When they began dismantling the wood pile, it was still covered in snow. Over the course of two weeks, around 200 tons of material passed through their hands, before it went into the self-constructed, mice-safe storage space. While the voluntary work helped the camp greatly, the “big move” still caused expenses: Renting the brown house for two weeks, organizing trucks, and feeding the helpers, among other costs, has set us back more than 25.000 CHF. Please help us make ends meet by contributing with a donation – any amount that feels good for you!

Gathering of Love:

On Pentecost weekend, over 80 people came together in Pü, the place that has been home to the camp for 33 years. With song, dance and prayer, we said goodbye to this unique land and shared the most meaningful memories from our time at camp. Isha wrote more about this in her June newsletter, which also includes a beautiful video.

Zenith Seminars in Germany, July 28 – August 10 2024:

The Caduceus Center agreed to host a two-week program with the camp during their usual summer break, and we had a wonderful improvised yet familiar camp amidst the north-german pine forest. We navigated through the Tricosm with Pir Zia, cultivated our inner sanctuary with Saki Lee and explored core elements of a meaningful life with Atum O’Kane. The two weeks have been rich, harmonious and light-hearted, while creating space for intense dialogue about the camp’s future.
